Government Policy and ground reality

Government Policy and ground reality

Indian government follows what all ideas US and UN imposed on. Human right is another most useless organization in India, and ministry Wow!!! We can even imagine how much corrupt, uneducated criminals are there in Indian politics.
This blog is all about “child labor in India”, Human right team spends enormous money for foolish serve and concluded, we need to stop Child Labor in India. I am not against of this policy, however we all know it’s meaningless and just another way to make money. Every coin has two faces, but dark face must be less. I myself encounter some incident what I would like to share with you.

Chapter: 1
It was 2002 winter; I was travelling from Allahabad (UP) city to Satna (MP), in North India best place to have delicious food is line hotel (Road side Dhaba on high ways). We stop our jeep and went for dinner, one 12 years old boy was serving us, he was just in old shirt and half pant. We were almost done suddenly one car arrived, couple of gentleman’s came out and went directly to cash counter, they display their batched and started shouting, don’t you know child labor is a crime? I am arresting you now, we are from Human right, let me call the local police. They started forcing to tell, the owner is forcing to work hard on less pay and any more charges including torture. He shouted to us as well and asks to leave now; we have no trouble as Owner doesn’t have concern to take money from us. We stared our journey.

Chapter: 2
After three days of journey, we were returning same way, I was curious to know what happens there. So I told to driver stop at same place, if that is open. Wow!!! Unexpected but true, Dhaba was open and have enough crowd, we went and order for us, I saw new but young man who was serving us, I asked to him, what happened 3 days ago and where is that young boy. After insisting couple of times, he told us Owner paid 20 thousands to Human Right team for that, and immediately fired that boy. It was bad to hear that, but still I asked where the boy is now. No answer. After we done with dinner, we went to PAN shop, there I saw one young boy was standing there and begging. I went close to him, same boy yesterday he was working, had pride, self respect and he was earning to manage food for his family and continue his study, but the government of India and great Human Right don't like same, begging is considered as self employment so, no rules over that. Do you understand what a bloody law done with him, and society?

Chapter: 3
I learn something from my, distance uncle named Yash, who is just metric pass. I respect much to my father’s philosophy, he use to tell me, “I know I need money for family needs but, why I can’t spend my little time to help someone”. He used to give free tuition or some time to less to consider, because his funda for life was teacher must have some responsibility for society. Once one poor boy come for a reference to get admission in good school, where family status, parents educations are also a factor for admission. Principal of school was my friend to my father; however my father was not available so my uncle Yash went with boy. Principal asked what his father does. Uncle Yash replied, boy need admission not his father. Finally he told father is taxi driver and mother is house wife, Principal clearly told him, sorry I can’t give him admission even though he is excellent student, because we can’t spoil our culture. It was unexpected for Uncle Yash, what he told is,”No problem Sir, I was thinking as a Principal you must have sense of responsibility for society, however I giving you a promise, this boy will be a criminal tomorrow, and the his victim will be you, because you have chance to secure his life but you are not, so have good time”. I don’t know how much convincing he was but that boy got admission.
Chapter: 4
After a week Principal mate to my Father and he told the story, I he accepted what mistake he was doing, just because of management pressure. If a man just metric pass can secure a life why we can’t. Why we are forcing our child to look for self employment like, begging, pick pocketing, minor crimes. We can force them not to have work, may be offer them free education and midday meals, but what will they eat in night or how will them manage their family, if no one is there to support, do we have any answer for that, no.

Summary:
Indian government should have a minimum understanding for Indians. We can’t blindly follow the US and UN policies. Child Labor act was revolution however meaningless in 90% cases. We don’t know why they are doing so, what makes them to leave the play ground and come to work. Who have time for that, ministry have to pass billon for this bill and more for supporting bills. So they got there share, who cares what Childs are doing. We must have to ban child labor for chemical, tobacco and risking fields but for safe and sound environment they should be allowed. Even before taking action against any employer we must need to do verify the case clearly. Some time just for mercy, employer offer them job but end with paying money to Human Right and Police. Even midday meal gives enough exposure for making money, starting from ministry till teachers. In 6 hrs of school timing 3 hrs goes for food. Off course midday meals increased the students in primary schools but education is not there anymore. So kindly, think once and try to save one future, don’t wait for government and policies because both are blind.
